Swap Me, Swap You!

Morning all!!!

So who’s up for a swap? I am!

As you will be aware I just recently received a beautiful gift from my mum, a shiny Janome!!!!! As it seems I’ve taken to sewing quite well & I’m going to test that by running the first ever but definitely not the only SWEET CHEEK CRAFTS SWAP. This one will be all about sewing.

The way I was thinking of doing this swap was having everyone make the same thing but adding their own style to the project. What do you think? I thought I might give you 3 projects & we can vote on which one to do, does this sound like a plan?

Once the project is chosen & all swappers have commented below or emailed in then I’ll do a random draw from two hats to match people up. Each swapper will receive an email from me with their swap buddies info.

Alright so let’s see if any of you are interested in the below projects;

TAKE AWAY SEWING CADDY

TRAVELLING ART SHOW POUCH

TISSUE BOX COVER

Ok so some of you may be thinking that the above projects are easy peesy but remember I’m trying to make this something a lot of us can participate in. The projects will get harder over time I promise & will not always be a sewing project either. This is a crafts blog after all not just a sewing blog.

Count me in I hear you say, alrighty then just email me at sweetcheekcrafts@gmail.com with your tutorial vote, your name & email address. You have until 5 pm tomorrow (Wed. 9th June) to submit your email. After this time I will post again to inform everyone of the favourite project & go over the swap guidelines.

Would love to be involved in a swap. Do we get instructions on how the item is made?

My favourite is the travelling art show pouch. Having two young boys and travelling a bit, this would be fantastic!

Yes I when I annouce the favourite project I'll include a link to the tutorial.

I think the art pouch is awesome, but I think they are all great. I'll definitely make all of them at some stage for myself personally.

Would love to do this and the travelling art show pouch is something I've always been meaning to do with a budding young artist in the family, I think this would be great.

The jest of it is that those involved will make up one of which ever item is most popular then I will give you your swap buddy's details so you can post it off to them. It will done like a Secret Santa draw. I'm thinking 2 weeks or maybe a month is plenty of time to complete the project. How does that all sound? I'll set out the details clearer in tomorrow night's post of course.
